Founded in a small warehouse in Toronto almost sixty years ago ( 1957 ), Out Store has grown into one of the world's leading makers of luxury apparel.
Out Store manufactures extreme weather outerwear: Parkas, coats, shells, jackets, bibs, pants, gloves, mittens and hats. This Web products are made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship to protect you in some of the most extreme weather conditions, and we stand behind each one.
For This Web, functionality is paramount. Our jackets are built for the coldest places on Earth – places where skin around the face can freeze in an instant. In these environments – when life is on the line – fur is not just the best choice, but the only choice. We do not use fake or faux fur because it simply does not protect as well as real fur.
We choose down because it is the world's best insulator, providing approximately three times the warmth per ounce as synthetic insulators, ultimately creating a significantly warmer and lighter product. Each ounce of down has approximately two million fluffy filaments that interlock and overlap to create insulating pockets of air, which keeps you warm. When cared for properly, a high-quality down-filled coat will last for generations.
A celebration of our longstanding relationship with the film industry, This Web collaborates with Oscar-winning Canadian director Paul Haggis and produces Out There, a short film that captures the extraordinary true stories of Goose People over the past six decades.
